  • 1 sm garlic clove
  • 1 scallion
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon dark sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds, roasted
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne

directions

Peel the garlic and crush it to a pulp. Cut the scallion crosswise into very thin rounds (you only need 1 tablespoon of this). Combine the garlic, 1 tablespoon sliced scallion, the soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, sesame seeds and ground red pepper in a small serving bowl and mix well.
